Cabinet refinishing for a full kitchen in Kincora, Calgary: 15 cabinet units taken from dark espresso to a fresh white finish — doors and drawers sprayed in our shop, frames sprayed on site, and new crown moulding added to finish the top of the cabinet run.
The starting point
The kitchen’s dark espresso shaker cabinets were solid, but the dark finish dated the room. Before any spraying, every surface was degreased and sanded, and the kitchen was masked and protected.
Spray work
Doors and drawers were transported to our shop, where they were sprayed with two coats of primer and a solvent-based pre-catalyzed lacquer. The frames were sprayed on site with the same system, the doors and drawers were reinstalled, and the kitchen was cleaned up.
Result
A bright, like-new kitchen: smooth white cabinets with a hard-wearing lacquer finish and new crown moulding tying the uppers to the ceiling — backed by our 2-year workmanship warranty. Take the video walkthrough above.
