Commercial Exterior Repaint — Calgary

A commercial exterior repaint in Calgary: this storefront’s black paint was worn and peeling, and the building is being converted into a new restaurant space. MV Painting repainted the exterior siding, trim and entry door to the project’s design palette — warm cream, charcoal black and deep green.

The starting point

The building’s exterior was finished in black, and the paint on the wood siding was peeling and worn — most visibly at the corners and trim, as the close-up in the gallery shows. The storefront still belonged to the previous business, and the building is being converted into a new restaurant space, starting with a whole new colour palette.

The work

Working from the project’s design elevations, our crew repainted the exterior siding in Benjamin Moore White Dove, the trim and roofline details in charcoal black, and the entry door in Benjamin Moore Essex Green — the repaint step of the exterior renovation, ahead of the new signage, lighting and window graphics set out in the design.

Result

The storefront now reads bright and welcoming from the street: the peeling black finish is gone, replaced by a warm cream exterior with a deep green entry — and the work is backed by our 2-year workmanship warranty.
